FAQ About Our packing and Moving services
What do you include in your packing services?
Our packing services include expert packing, which means that we have experienced packers who know how to handle and pack items usually found in your household or working space. The packing material and supplies like sturdy boxes, bubble wraps, tape, tie downs, rolls of plastic, unprinted paper, brown pads, moving blankets and others, and other custom-made crates, all to ensure the maximum safety of your things when we are moving them. Finally, every package will be labeled properly for a more efficient and organized unpacking process.
Do you offer unpacking services?
Yes, once your items are delivered to the address of your new home or office, our movers can start unpacking for you, making sure to set up all the items in their proper places. When we have unpacked everything, we will also clean up after, removing all the excess packaging material and debris, leaving your place nice and tidy.
How much in advance should I book packing and moving services?
Ideally, you should book our moving and packing services three or four weeks in advance, especially during peak moving seasons (summer and spring). This way, you will ensure you get the date that fits your schedule for the move the best, and our movers have plenty of time to organize for the move and prepare all the tools and packing materials to meet your needs and expectations.
Can I trust you with packing fragile items?
Of course, that is what we do best! As experienced packers, we know how to properly pack glassware, lamps, expensive china, mirrors, artwork, or any other delicate item you want to move.
Do you pack and move sensitive electronic equipment?
Sure, our movers can pack and move electronic equipment like laptops, printers, monitors, scanners, speakers, surround sound units, etc., and pay special attention to any parts that are particularly delicate and fragile (made of glass or other sensitive material).
Can you movers pack and move any items?
No, we have a list of things that our movers cannot move or even pack. These include dangerous things like weapons, ammunition, and explosives. Furthermore, we do not move fireworks, fire extinguishers, nail polish removers, pain thinners, poisons, alcohol, and drugs. Finally, we advise taking your jewelry and important personal documents with you during the move.
How long does the packing process take?
This largely depends on what items are have to pack and how many of them. If you require packing large or bulky items that need to be disassembled first (furniture and appliances), or you need custom-made packaging and crates, we may need to pack you one day before the move. In most cases, we will come and pack you on the day of the move.
