FAQ About Our Residential Relocation Services
Do you relocate backyard house inventory?
Yes, we can organize moving of the things that can be found in your backyard, not only the house itself. These usually include the contents of your shed (power tools, gardening tools), outdoor furniture or appliances, lawn mowers, children’s playgrounds, recreational sets, etc. We also provide the services of disassembling or uninstalling these items if necessary for easier transport.
Are you willing to relocate me from a small studio apartment?
Weston Moving and Storage will accept small moves, which means that we will move a small household (like a small studio apartment). For these kinds of residential places, we usually send a team of two movers, who are enough to complete the relocation in time.
Do you relocate people from rooms (dorm rooms, nursing home rooms, etc.)?
Yes, we can help students and senior citizens move not only from their apartments but also from dorm rooms or using home rooms. Our residential moving company offers all the moving services for these small-quantity moves, just like for any other residential move – packing, disassembling and reassembling furniture, uninstalling and reinstalling appliances.
What items can you not move from a household?
We are not allowed to move weapons, ammunition, explosives, alcohol, and drugs due to safety and legal reasons. Moreover, we do not move live plants, pets, perishable food, and highly flammable liquids or gases like gasoline, nail polish remover, propane gas, cleaning solutions, etc.
How much will it cost to move my household across the state?
The price of your household relocation across Florida depends on several factors, the most important ones being the location of your move, the weight of the things we are transporting, and the additional services you may need from us (packing, disassembling and reassembling, etc.). All of these are taken into consideration when calculating the final price. But don’t worry, once we send you the free quote, you don’t have to accept the deal.
Are there any additional fees for moving things up and down the stairs?
No, we have no additional fees when we have to move your belongings up and down the stairs. However, we may need more movers and more time to complete this task successfully, as we may need additional labor force to move items (especially the heavy ones) downstairs or upstairs.
